![]() ![]() | ![]() Newsletter ArchiveA Hot Dog Talks to Ricky Schroder, Cracklin' Rose, and Ewwww, Gross Income Ok, in our first ever online poll, we learned that you want more seating, later hours, and more cowbell. That can all be arranged. Later weekend hours will be happening by Summertime and more seating will follow soon thereafter. As for the cowbell, that's more of a state-of-mind thing. To participate in our new poll, go HERE.

Ewwww, Gross Income Spring is in the air, the baby birds are chirp-chirping, flowers are starting to bloom, and if you listen very, very closely, you can hear the faint whisper of all the money being sucked out of your wallet. It's tax time again and that means most of us are a little perturbed with Uncle Sam (not the troops.... troops=good, tax time=bad). So, we're offering our normal case discount, 10% OFF, on purchases of 6 bottles or more through Sunday the 15th. Maybe that will help at least a little, and then you'll go do something nice for a boyscout, thenthat boyscout will help an elderly woman across the street, and then that elderly woman will broker peace in the Middle East. Who knows. It could happen.

CRACKLIN' ROSÉ It's rosé time again which is one of our favorite times of the year for new wine releases. So join us Saturday, April 21st from 4-6pm for our 2007 pink tasting. We're still tasting this year's selections and will post the final line-up early next week on our website. RSVP to info@cowineco.com or (323) 478-1985. And in the meantime, Neil Diamond was of COURSE singing of wine in Cracklin' Rosie. We just removed the 'i' to suit our needs (Yes, yes, i know, there are other interpretations of this song):
Oh, I love my rosé child

WINE TASTING SCHEDULE
***We hold tastings twice a week on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons , and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays the bar is open for wines by the glass . Please see our calendar for details on any given day: www.cowineco.com/calendar ***
Wine Tasting: Let's Stay Together, RickySchroder Friday the 13th 5:30-8:30pm $15/person 5 wines and gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Marketplace Please RSVP to: info@cowineco.com or (323) 478-1985
It's the little silver spoon himself, Ricky Schroder's birthday today. Though, now that he's on 24 backing up the impenetrable Jack Bauer, I guess we should drop the 'y' and call him "Rick" now. Nah, Ricky is better. It's also gospel and soul legend Al Green's birthday today so Mr. Green will be heavy on the CoWineCo tune rotation Friday night. But back to little Ricky a second....look at that title.... "hot dog talks to Ricky Schroder" - what an absolutely terrifying image. wines Routas Wild Boar white, France Domain Luneaux Muscadet, Loire, France Piagier La Grange Red, Rhone, France Waterbrook Mélange, Washington Wishing Tree Shiraz, Australia
Lazy Sunday Tasting Sunday, April 15th 1-4pm $12/person 4 wines and gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Marketplace Our Sunday tastings will now feature slightly higher-end wine selections. Our Friday tastings get a little too loud to discuss the wines in great detail (we're not complaining), so if wine knowledge is your grail, Sundays are the best tastings for you. Call or email Sunday for selections. (323) 478-1985 or info@cowineco.com
Cracklin' Rosé Tasting Saturday, April 21st 4-6pm $15/person 4-5 wines and gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Marketplace Check back next week for the '07 rosé selections!

Corkage Schmorkage When restaurants offer no, low, or discounted corkage for wine you bring into their restaurants, it's a big deal. The margin on food aint pretty so alcohol usually makes up the difference for them. So, here's our short list of restaurants to start you off, but please follow the link below to our blog and add your picks!
