On Tuesday, November 4th of course we will all be watching the vote tallies and wondering what the future holds for our country. But if you're like us, and this whole election business gives you high blood pressure and a rare disease that makes you throw snack foods at the pundits on the tv screen, you may want to come to a semi-padded place (cork floors...you can bounce your head off them pretty safely) and listen to the results with a glass of wine in your hands. We have no TVs (and proud of it), but replacing our normal playlist will be live news all night covering the voting results. Join us to celebrate the democratic process tonight and you get 1/2 price glasses-o-wine all night. We'll undoubtedly be sipping right along with you.
Tuesday Bar Hours: 4 - 9pm six different wines by-the-glass bring your own food or order-in

The Ghost of Economies Past Folks, we still have the best deal in wine tasting in Los Angeles so please join us this Friday night amongst ghosts, goblins, ghouls, and probably more than one Sarah Palin as we present another Friday 5-wine flight. Show up in costume and knock $5 off your tasting. And by 'costume' we don't mean a "Hello, My Name Is.." tag or a funny hat. Though funny hats ARE great, don't get me wrong, they don't count. This Friday the 31st 5:30-8:30pm 5 wine flight + gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's $15/person RSVP to: info@cowineco.com or (323) 478-1985 wines Dibon Brut Cava, Spain Bernard Terre Du Pape Rhone White 2005, France Santa Maria Rancher's Blend Red 2003, Santa Ynez, California Morgan Cotes du Crow's Red 2006, Monterey, California Ramian Estate Linden Hills Vineyard Grenache 2006, Lodi, California

Black Velvet If You Please Our next art show is one we've been trying to land for three years. We'd heard of this reclusive art collector Dr. Lemt Petite-Squirrele who was a Fresno raisin magnate in the 40s and who possessed what is arguably the finest velvet painting collection in the known world. Well, he did exist and CoWineCo is where you will see his velvet art collection first. According to art historian Martin Barrett, after a brief hospitalization in 1949 after what only can be likened to a nervous breakdown, Petite-Squirrele commented on the unique beauty of velvet art, "We are born naked...We add the dimension of wisdom to the dimensions of height and weight. But the wisdom constantly betrays us. It is a false dimension. It is only with the hairy nubs of velvet that we achieve dimensional truth, because it's so clearly attached."
Join us for the art opening: A World With Hair On It: Petite Squirrele's Velvet Vision presented by velvet painting ambassador, Jeremy Rosenberg On Saturday, November 8th, from 4-6pm @ Colorado Wine Company Gourmet cheeses from Auntie Em's Market will be served
