He later explained to the press one of the unique ways he stayed alive -- a rare, fairly unknown processof collecting lightning bugs, putting them in a plastic bag with a piece of tinfoil as a reflector and squeezing the bag to excite them, thus creatinga flashlight. He also claimed that had he not eaten fast food as his last meal, he would have had a better sense of balance and found safety far sooner. Here's to Chet and others like him....though we're pretty sure there aren't any others like him. Cheers, Chet. wines Domaine Triennes Viognier, France Burch Hall Le Petite Vendanges (Unoaked) Chardonnay 2006,Monterey, California Burch Hall Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Central Coast, California Margerum "Chukker" Red 2007, Happy Canyon, Santa Ynez, California ( **** this is a fanastic new addition to the store -- a Chinon-style Cab Franc blend from Doug Margerum ***) Ted the Mule Syrah/Grenache, France |
